Scope
This policy describes Offset Press for Android and this accompanying website. The app is a visual composition tool. It explains how active plates, saved proofs and preferences are handled. Effective date: 6 September 2026.

Active plates
The selected study, repeat count, gap, angle and ink palette are stored locally in the app’s private storage. These values restore the working plate when the app is opened again.

Saved proofs
When you keep an impression, its name, study selection, parameters and generated feedback are saved on your device. The proof image is drawn from these values; it is not uploaded to a service.

Preferences
The Reduce motion preference is stored with the app’s local settings. It changes animation behavior while keeping the same controls, settled print and feedback.

Device storage
Android places app data in storage assigned to Offset Press. Other ordinary apps cannot directly read that private directory through this app. Device administrators, operating-system tools or a compromised device may have broader access.

Your deletion controls
Remove a saved proof from the Proof rack using Remove and confirm the action. Clearing Offset Press app storage in Android settings removes the active plate, proofs and preferences. Uninstalling also removes the app’s local data under normal Android behavior.

Permissions
The Android manifest requests no runtime or network permissions. The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, precise location or shared media storage.

Network behavior
The Android app does not implement network requests. Its studies and working tools are bundled in the installed app. This website loads its files from the server where it is opened; that server may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address and browser headers.

Analytics and diagnostics
Offset Press includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. It does not send usage events or proof content to the developer. Android or your device provider may process system diagnostics under their own settings and policies.

Advertising
The app and this website contain no advertising SDK or ad personalization feature. Offset Press does not create an advertising profile from your visual experiments.

Sharing
There is no in-app sharing or export function in this version. A screenshot you take using your device is handled by the device and any app you choose to share it with, under those services’ policies.

Backups
Android backup is disabled in the app manifest. Offset Press does not provide a cloud backup or cross-device synchronization service. Independent device-management or system-transfer tools are outside the app’s control.

Children
The app does not ask for a name, age, email address or other identifying information. A proof name is free text stored locally; avoid entering personal information you do not want kept on the device. No child profile or child-directed data collection is implemented.

Security
The app uses Android’s private app storage and requests no extra access. Your screen lock and device security remain important. No storage system can be promised immune to device loss, compromise or operating-system faults.

Retention
Local settings and kept proofs remain until you change or remove them, clear app storage or uninstall. The app does not run a remote retention service or maintain server copies of your plates.

Changes to this policy
A later app version may change features or data handling. Review the policy accompanying that version. A new effective date will identify an updated policy; this page does not claim that future versions behave identically.
